What happens to the information that you provide?

Your privacy is of utmost importance. If you choose, you can complete the form without revealing your identity. The information you provide will be electronically transmitted to a Certified Consumer Credit Counselor and held in the strictest of confidence. It will not be released or sold to any outside agency for any reason.

Some of the demographic information we collect such as year of birth, gender, ethnic background, and marital status may be used in general reports. For example, we may report that we counseled a certain number of women this year, or how many of our clients are married or single. What kind of questions should I expect?

We will ask you about your monthly income, essential living expenses, how many creditors you owe and the amount you owe them, and if you are behind in any payments.

In order for your counselor to help you, it is important that you supply complete and accurate answers to these questions. If at any time you feel uncomfortable with the process you can contact us and talk to an Account Manager over the telephone. They will be happy to explain the process and talk you through the assessment form.
