Support CCCS
CCCS of South Texas takes pride in our non-profit community service based philosophy. The social service model driven mission statement will continue to guide CCCS of South Texas in helping families. "It is not about charging large fees and making money like many larger counseling agencies. Our goal is to help our neighbors and to keep our counseling free for as long as we possibly can," said Susan Garner, director of administration. If you would like to help with any of our on-going needs we would most grateful. CCCS is a non-profit recognized by the I.R.S. and we can issue a letter of donation upon request.
Annual Fundraiser
CCCS of South Texas holds one annual fundraiser each year. In years past CCCS had held fishing tournaments, golf tournaments and boat charters.
The 2006 golf tournament was held on Friday, July 14th raising almost $14,000 for financial literacy in South Texas. The tournament is always a great way to sponsor your organization and help a worthwhile cause. The 2007 tournament will be held on Friday, July 13th. If you are interested being a sponsor for the tournament
contact Melissa Goonan.
Volunteers
CCCS can always use volunteers throughout the agency. We have a variety of needs with regard to office clerical duties, reception duties in our branch offices, and professionals willing to teach financial literacy in different venues.
All volunteers must sign an agreement of confidentiality no matter what area of service their volunteer in at the agency. The agency does not utilize volunteer counselors due to our certification standards. If you are interested in helping at CCCS please contact us.
