Financial Literacy
CCCS of South Texas is committed to providing financial literacy education throughout our 20 county service area. We believe in teaching proactive skills before credit and debt problems surface.
Some of the groups we speak with include schools, employers, civic groups, and churches just to name a few. CCCS conducts on-site, off-site, and public classes throughout the year. We also maintain an inventory of curriculum and materials for teachers, employers and students.
The education department has over 35 different education topics including budgeting, credit, and other related money management topics. Our most requested classes include Money Management Made Easy, Solving Credit Problems, Surviving A Loss of Income and Holidays on a Budget.
Don’t forget to check our education section for valuable money management information on a wide variety of topics including budgeting, credit reports, loss of income, reducing expenses, homebuyer information, identity theft, and credit scoring.
Consider taking a class by finding a class near you in our education section. Don’t forget we have additional resources if there is not a class currently scheduled in your area. We would be glad to help you in getting the information you need.
